Why ThirdWish?
Our name is ThirdWish. We all know the story of the genie in the lamp who grants three wishes. But what does that have to do with a technology company, a company that has chosen intellectual property (hereinafter IP), HR services for labor-intensive companies, and services for companies in the financial and insurance sector as its three business niches? Nothing would make sense without generative AI (hereafter referred to as Gen AI). Gen AI is a technology that can create new content—text, images, music, code, etc.—based on previous examples it has learned. In a way, it's like making a wish to a genie in a lamp. And who is the genie in the lamp? A year and a half ago, when we created ThirdWish, the genie in the lamp was AI itself. Not today. The genie, or rather genies, in the lamp are artificial intelligence agents (AI Agents).
What is an AI agent?
It is a system that can understand what you ask it or even what a person needs, and from there, think about how to help and act on its own to do so. An AI agent, our genie in a lamp, does many things:
- It listens to or reads what you say
- It understands what you want to achieve (you must explain it very well, in detail and, above all, with context… (the wishes you ask the genie in the lamp)
- Makes decisions to help you
- Performs tasks automatically (responds to messages, searches for information, schedules meetings,
analyzes documents, writes reports, etc.)
How can we make our genius, our AI agents, better and more accurate?
Well, like almost everything else in life, through training and practice. Training an AI agent involves a continuous learning process in which we teach it to do its job better, feeding it more data, correcting its mistakes, and adapting it to the real needs of its users.
How do we train our AI agents?
We do this in five steps:
First: we give it lots of examples and lots of data (documents, emails, conversations, forms) to help it understand how things are done.
Second: we explain the rules (e.g., processes) and preferences. How it should act in each case.
Third: we supervise. Actually, you, our clients, do that by reviewing its answers; and if it makes mistakes or doesn’t understand a task well, you correct it.
Fourth: it learns from every interaction. The more you use it and the more feedback you give it, the more it improves.
Fifth: it gets refined with very specific data about the company, the business, the process, and the user. The idea is that it does not give generic answers, but rather highly tailored ones.
